The Sitecore pop-up menu in the Sitecore SXA Experience Editor doesn’t appear when you try to add a data source for the Coveo Results Preferences rendering.

Use the following workaround:

  1. In the Experience Editor, add the rendering without a data source to your page design/partial design.

  2. In the Sitecore menu, click Presentation, and then click Details.

  3. In the Layout Details window, select the Final Layout tab.

  4. In the MVC Layout section, click your Coveo Results Preferences rendering.

  5. In the Control Properties window, in the General section, click the Browse link located just under Data Source.

  6. In the Select the Associated Content window, create your data source item in the desired location.

  7. Click OK to close all open windows.

Supported SXA module versions

Coveo for Sitecore adds support for new Sitecore and SXA module versions separately. Coveo for Sitecore may, at times, support the latest Sitecore version but not yet support its corresponding SXA module. You should ensure the version of Coveo for Sitecore you’re considering to install provides an SXA <VERSION> download link for the version of Sitecore SXA you’re targeting.

Example

Considering the downloads table shown below, Coveo for Sitecore supports both Sitecore 10.3 and Sitecore SXA 10.3.

All Coveo for Sitecore 5 release note articles begin by specifying the version of the Coveo JavaScript Search Framework files included in the package, and the targeted version of the Framework if you use the CDN.
