After the deployment of Coveo for Sitecore files in your Sitecore instance, you need to configure your indexing options, setup a connection to your Coveo organization and activate Coveo for Sitecore.

There are three methods you can use to do this.

Using the Coveo for Sitecore User Interface

When installing Coveo for Sitecore as a Sitecore package using the Installation Wizard, Coveo for Sitecore will automatically prompt you to configure and activate. You can also reach the activation page using its URL (see Configure and Activate Using the User Interface).

Using the REST API

Configuration and activation steps performed through the Coveo for Sitecore user interface actually perform REST API calls in the background. In certain circumstances, for example in scaled environments, you may want to leverage the REST API directly (see Activate silently).

Using PowerShell Scripts

Coveo for Sitecore provides configuration and activation PowerShell functions and the command line call for each (see Use PowerShell for Configuration and Activation).
