Components Aren’t Rendering Or Analytics HTTP Requests Are Failing Intermittently

Symptoms

Symptoms that have been observed are:

  • Analytics HTTP requests failing intermittently with a missing /ua in the request URL

    or

  • Components intermittently not rendering after everything has loaded because they keep the coveo-during-initialization class instead of being updated to the coveo-after-initialization class

Cause

It appears some custom scripts may be interfering with Coveo for Sitecore component initialization.

Resolution

The issue was resolved in the May 28, 2021 release of Coveo for Sitecore.

Workaround

Inserting the Coveo Search Resources at the very bottom of a page seems to resolve the issue.
