Coveo product documentation changes

Our documentation is continually updated with new articles and changes made to existing content. You can subscribe to our RSS feed to be notified when new updates are published (see Subscribing to our feed).

The documentation site now features a header navigation bar with five category tabs: Coveo Platform, Solutions & integrations, Resources, API reference, and Developer tools. These tabs provide quick access to major documentation sections and reduce the complexity of the left sidebar navigation.

A flow diagram now shows how the automatic mapping feature works when a source has mappings configured for some metadata.

Dictionary fields are now visible in the Fields tab of the Content Browser item properties panel. The Review item properties article has been updated to reflect this, and the About dictionary fields article now mentions that you can review dictionary fields directly from the Content Browser. The Privilege reference article has also been updated to document the new "Explore dictionary fields" privilege required to view dictionary field data in the Content Browser.

The table of contents for the Manage an organization collection has been simplified to improve article discoverability.

It explains the information found on the page, such as licensed products, entitlements, and usage metrics, and how to use it to validate your organization’s license and usage. It also provides links to related documentation for more details on specific features and metrics.

This article has been updated to add best practices for customer-side logging in custom connector projects, especially for projects that use the Push API.

This article has been updated to explain how to view and manage query pipeline conditions more effectively using the recent enhancements to the Conditions page.

The Hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server allows third-party LLM apps and AI agent frameworks to seamlessly access Coveo’s enterprise search and retrieval capabilities. It enables these apps and frameworks to dynamically invoke Coveo’s Search, Fetch, Answer, and Passage Retrieval tools without the need for custom integrations.
