User ID

A usage analytics user ID is an identifier which is automatically attributed to a user who performs an action that results in a UA event. For an authenticated user, this is a human-readable identifier (typically the user’s email address). For an anonymous user, it defaults to the client ID. If a client ID isn’t available, it defaults to the visitor ID.

The UA user ID is distinct from the user name, which is an actual name.
