Logical index

A Logical index is a data structure that securely stores content items of a given organization, enabling fast retrieval when they match a query. Typically, Coveo organizations operate with just one index. In larger deployments, Coveo supports the use of multiple indexes within the same organization, called logical indexes. This approach speeds up indexing and query response time, and ensures proper separation of search results.
