Visit ID

A usage analytics (UA) visit ID is a GUID which is generated when a user accesses or returns to an interface that logs UA data. Visit IDs expire after 30 minutes of inactivity.

The visit ID is distinct from the visitor ID, which can be manually specified and doesn’t expire, and the user ID, which is used to track authenticated users and also doesn’t expire.
