Crawling account

A Crawling account is an account used by a Coveo crawler to retrieve content from an enterprise system.

This account must have access to all of the content to index. In some enterprise systems, a crawling account requires additional rights to retrieve information such as item permissions (see Coveo management of security identities and item permissions).
