Symptoms

You have recently upgraded to Coveo for Sitecore 5 and get the following error when trying to view a Coveo-powered search page in the Sitecore Experience Editor.

Errors:
Unable to create the search context. Please check diagnostic page for more info.

Search is currently unavailable
If the problem persists contact the administrator.

Cause

The search page you’re trying to view was built using Coveo Legacy Search UI Framework items. Coveo for Sitecore 5 supports Coveo Hive Search UI Framework items only.

Refer to the Coveo for Sitecore 5 upgrade documentation section for instructions on how to move from the Coveo Legacy Framework to the Coveo Hive Framework.
