The following rules apply to logos, icons, screen captures, diagrams, and GIFs:

  • Must not be empty (no ![]).

  • 125 characters or less.

  • Describe the content of the image and its function, and be specific:

Examples

  • Diagram showing the order of execution of query pipeline features

  • Sources page of the Coveo Administration Console

  • Example of an Automatic Relevance Tuning model configuration

  • What text would work best as a replacement.

  • Use key terms and concepts sparingly (no overuse of keywords).

  • For company logos, just name the company or the product (for example, Microsoft, Microsoft SharePoint).

  • When the image is only text (for example, button label), use that text.

Inclusion

Use gender-neutral language.

Avoid the use of pronouns (he/she); instead, repeat the subject or use "they".

Use "blocklist" and "allowlist", not "blacklist" and "whitelist".

Use "agent", not "slave".
