package.json – Coveo Experimentation Hub

The package.json file contains metadata about your experience, including package dependencies.

Declaring dependencies means that we only include those packages that are used in the Smartserve bundle, which is good for performance and bundle size.

For more information about packages, see Packages & code re-use.

If you use Qubit CLI, the package.json also stores some additional metadata that allows the CLI to distinguish between the experiences stored on your local file system.
