Deploying Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a Portal

By deploying Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in your Microsoft Dynamics 365 portal, you make your Dynamics 365 content and content from other sources available to your customers visiting your portal site (see Deliver web engagement experience with portal capabilities for Dynamics 365). As a result, it is easier for your community to find the content that is the most relevant to its needs.

These deployment steps are meant to be followed linearly, as some steps require you to have done the previous steps.

  1. Making Microsoft Dynamics 365 Content Available in a Portal
  2. Including Coveo Resources
  3. Adding a Coveo Search Page
  4. Replacing the Portal Search Box
  5. Pushing View Events to Coveo Usage Analytics

To deploy Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in your Microsoft Dynamics 365 portal, you need:

  • A Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 license
  • A Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement portal that is up and running

If you do not have a portal yet, create one using the Microsoft documentation on how to provision a portal before deploying Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365.
