Coveo for Sitecore Legacy Search UI Framework - Date Sort Component Properties

This article describes the properties that are available on the DateSort component.

Basic settings
Title Specifies the sort link caption. Date

Sort Direction Specifies the direction in which results must be sorted when the sort link is clicked. The Sort Direction is used only when Sort Type is set to Date or Field. See Coveo Sort Component - sortCriteria.
Toggle Sort Direction Specifies whether the sort direction alternates each time the sort component is clicked.

This option is enabled by default.
General
Placeholder Calls the appropriate container for the component you want to add. /coveo-search/coveo-sorts When using the Experience Editor, this field is automatically filled with the correct container.
Data Source Specifies the source of the data used to populate the component with specific data.

Unique identifier

 Specifies an optional unique identifier for a facet. For example, this identifier will be used to save the facet state in the URL hash. If this field isn't specified, the field name will be used as the unique identifier.

The default value is $GenerateNewUniqueId, which generates a random facet ID.

Caching Specifies if the component rendering is cached or not. All Disabled
