Coveo Enterprise Search 7 Has Reached End of Life

In this article

When Coveo pioneered Intelligent Search-as-a-Service in 2015, we knew this would be the platform that would power the next generation of digital experiences. Our investments in cloud-based solutions that leverage AI and machine learning are central to a vision that goes beyond the search box, delivering relevant information at every interaction.

To that end, as of December 31, 2021, Coveo Enterprise Search (CES) version 7 will reach end of life and will no longer be supported by Coveo. We will continue to offer technical support to all active CES customers up until December 31, 2021.

We care deeply about your success and want to help make a smooth transition to other offerings that can advance the digital experiences you’re creating in your business.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does end of life mean for me?

If your organization is using Coveo Enterprise Search after December 31, 2021, you’ll no longer receive support from Coveo, nor any security updates.

You can still continue to use Coveo Enterprise Search on-premises, but once end-of-life occurs, you’ll no longer receive technical support from Coveo in case of any problems nor any security updates, making your index vulnerable to risks.

Are there alternative products that I can use?

A migration to a cloud-based solution will enable you to deliver a best-in-class experience for your customers and your employees, with innovative capabilities that span commerce, digital marketing, assisted support, customer and employee self-service, and internal proficiency.

There are also several cloud-only features to help you maximize your investment in Coveo and deliver value not currently realized through the use of CES, including Coveo Machine Learning, Coveo Infrastructure, and Coveo Usage Analytics.

Where can I get more information?

You can find more information and engage with product experts on the Coveo Connect community, check out self-paced learning on Coveo level up, or learn more about the Coveo offerings in the product documentation.

We strongly recommend that you reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to better understand the value of Coveo and jointly determine a plan for migration.
