Once the app is set up, workspace members can then add it to their ChatGPT accounts. This article covers the following steps: . [Administrator setup in the ChatGPT workspace](#administrator-setup-in-the-chatgpt-workspace) . [Workspace member setup in ChatGPT](#workspace-member-setup-in-chatgpt) ## Prerequisites * You [configured](https://docs.coveo.com/en/q1mb0212/) a Hosted MCP Server in your [Coveo organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/). * You have Admin role privileges in your ChatGPT workspace. * You're either a member of the [Administrators group](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1980#administrators) in your [Coveo organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/) or you have the [required privileges](https://docs.coveo.com/en/q1mb0212#required-privileges) to edit a Hosted MCP Server configuration. ## Administrator setup in the ChatGPT workspace As an administrator, you'll either [enable](#enable-the-default-app) or [create](#add-a-custom-app) a shared app in your ChatGPT workspace that allows MCP clients to connect to your Hosted MCP Server using OAuth (Authenticated) or API key (Anonymous) authentication. ### Enable the default app A default Coveo app is available in ChatGPT, but it must be enabled in your ChatGPT workspace before it can be used.
