# Set up Model Context Protocol (MCP) clients
This section provides setup instructions for the following MCP clients:

* [Claude Desktop MCP client](https://docs.coveo.com/en/pbpb0442/)

These clients are a subset of the ones that have been successfully tested by Coveo.

## MCP client reference

The following table lists the MCP clients that have been tested by Coveo, along with the currently supported authentication methods for each client.
It also provides links to resources that will help you set up each client to work with your Coveo Hosted MCP Server.
