# Facet field
A {doctitle} is a [field](https://docs.coveo.com/en/200/) configured within the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/) to be used as a [facet](https://docs.coveo.com/en/198/) or a multi-value facet.
Once configured, the facet field makes product attributes available as filters on search interfaces and {PLPs}.
