# Experience Cloud components
Salesforce [Experience Cloud](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=experience.exp_cloud_basics_what.htm&type=5) (formerly known as Community Cloud) allows you to create branded portals and websites for your customers, partners, and employees.
Experience Cloud sites can be used to provide self-service support, share knowledge, and foster collaboration among users.
