When a query is empty, this button allows service agents to generate answers on demand based on the context of the case they're working on. * **"Reset your configuration" button improvements** The **Reset your configuration** button on the [Coveo for Salesforce configuration page](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1275/) has been visually improved to prevent accidental resets. The button is now colored red and a new confirmation dialog appears after clicking it. * **Citation anchoring** [Citation anchoring](https://docs.coveo.com/en/nb6a0037#rga-component-features) for HTML items is now available by default in RGA-enabled hosted search interfaces. ### Bug fixes * **Multiple results can now be attached to non-case Salesforce records** Fixed an issue where only a single result could be attached to a non-case Salesforce record. ## July 2025 release: v6.5 (minor release) > **Note** > > This release includes the Quantic Framework (v3.26.0), the JavaScript Search Framework [May 2025 release (2.10123.0)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o1aj0225#may-2025-release-v2101230), and the JavaScript Interface Editor [July 2023 release (1.34.2)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/354#july-2023-release-v1342). To download this release of Coveo for Salesforce: * [Install Coveo for Salesforce 6.3 in a production environment](https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tKW000000xA6A) * [Install Coveo for Salesforce 6.3 in a sandbox environment](https://test.salesforce.com/packaging/installPackage.apexp?p0=04tKW000000xA6A) ### New features and enhancements * **Custom Context Provider picklist now available on Coveo hosted search page components** The **Custom Context Provider** picklist, now part of the [**Coveo Console Hosted Search Page**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o4b80259#custom-context-provider) and [**Coveo Community Hosted Search Page**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o3lb0328#custom-context-provider) components, makes it easy to augment queries with additional context from a custom Apex class. * **Collapsible option for generated answers now available in the builders** Use the **Show more/Show less** option, now available in the [Hosted Insight Panel](https://docs.coveo.com/en/n8sa0455#expand-or-collapse-a-generated-answer) and [hosted search page](https://docs.coveo.com/en/na2g0545#expand-or-collapse-a-generated-answer) builders, to control whether expanding and collapsing generated answers is allowed in your hosted experience. ### Bug fixes * **Generated answers now collapse as expected for long answers with slow network connections** Fixed an issue where the generated answer didn't collapse as expected for long answers that were received in a single block due to a slow network connection. * **Answer configuration can now be associated** Fixed an issue where the Coveo Hosted Insight Panel couldn't [associate an Answer Manager configuration](https://docs.coveo.com/en/n8sa0455#associate-an-answer-configuration) properly. * **Getting Started now redirects users to the Configuration page when needed** Fixed an issue where the Coveo for Salesforce **Getting Started** page didn't redirect users to the **Configuration** page when the package wasn't linked to a Coveo organization. ## January 2025 release: v6.2 (minor release) > **Note** > > This release includes the Quantic Framework (v3.11.0), the JavaScript Search Framework [July 2024 release (2.10119.0)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/n14g0322#july-2024-release-v2101190), and the JavaScript Interface Editor [July 2023 release (1.34.2)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/354#july-2023-release-v1342). Spacing adjustments have also been applied to the result templates to enhance the overall display. * **Custom token generation is now available for Coveo Community Hosted Search Pages** You can now [generate a custom search token](https://docs.coveo.com/en/obkd0147/) to authenticate queries on the **Coveo Community Hosted Search Page** component by creating an Apex class that implements `CoveoV2.SearchTokenGeneratorInterface`. You can then use the component's **Token Generator** picklist to select the name of the Apex class you created to override the default search token used in your Community Hosted Search Page configuration. * **Custom token generation is now available for Coveo Console Hosted Search Pages** You can now [generate a custom search token](https://docs.coveo.com/en/obt75351/) to authenticate queries on the **Coveo Console Hosted Search Page** component by creating an Apex class that implements `CoveoV2.SearchTokenGeneratorInterface`. You can then use the component's **Token Generator** picklist to select the name of the Apex class you created to override the default search token used in your Console Hosted Search Page configuration. ### Bug fixes * **Coveo Insight Panel Lightning Component for Chat (Live Agent) now loads as expected with Enhanced Messaging** Fixed an issue where the **Coveo Insight Panel Lightning Component** for Chat (Live Agent) didn't load when used on a `MessagingSession` type of record. This change applies even if the **Organization endpoint** setting is disabled on the [Advanced Configuration page](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1275#using-the-advanced-configuration-page). * **User Actions now available in the Coveo Hosted Insight Panel** The Coveo Hosted Insight Panel now supports the [User Actions](https://docs.coveo.com/en/m7ed8015#user-actions) feature. * **Notify trigger rule now supported** The Coveo Hosted Insight Panel now supports the [Notify trigger rule](https://docs.coveo.com/en/3413#notify). * **Relevance Generative Answering (RGA) citation clicks now tracked as regular click events** RGA citation clicks are now tracked as regular click events instead of custom click events. Deployments that have enabled RGA for their Coveo Hosted Insight Panel or Coveo Hosted Search Page components will see this change reflected in their Coveo Usage Analytics (Coveo UA) reports. * **Styling and display improvements** This package includes minor styling and display improvements related to the [Salesforce Winter '25 release](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=release-notes.salesforce_release_notes.htm&release=252&type=5). ### Bug fixes * **ClientIdAccessor component now works as expected** Fixed an issue where the [`ClientIdAccessor`](https://docs.coveo.com/en/n6jg0305/) Lightning component wasn't working as expected when using the `setClientId` method. * **Updated the Quantic `originLevel3` value** Fixed an issue to ensure that the Quantic `originLevel3` value always sends the URL of the page where the Quantic component resides, improving analytics data. * **Added a tooltip to long query suggestions** Fixed an issue where long query suggestions in the search box were truncated. A tooltip now appears when hovering over the suggestion to display the full query. * **Sort options now display correctly on small screens** Fixed an issue where **Sort by** menu options didn't display correctly on small screens. * **Standalone search box query suggestions now appear as expected on pages containing multiple search boxes** Fixed an issue where standalone search box query suggestions could appear under another search box on pages with multiple search boxes. * **Query suggestions no longer flicker after making a selection** Fixed an issue where query suggestions flickered after making a selection.
