--- title: Merchandising Hub interface slug: o6lb0453 canonical_url: https://docs.coveo.com/en/o6lb0453/ collection: coveo-merchandising-hub source_format: adoc --- # Merchandising Hub interface The [Coveo Merchandising Hub (CMH)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o5290573/) allows merchandisers to influence the products shown in search results, [product listing pages (PLPs)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/m1sf3187/), and recommendation slots. When logging in to the CMH, merchandisers land on the Overview page, where they can review performance [metrics](https://docs.coveo.com/en/263/) and access the Search and Product Listings managers to make changes. The following image shows the CMH landing page: ![Anatomy of the CMH | Coveo](https://docs.coveo.com/en/assets/images/coveo-for-commerce/images/cmh/cmh-anatomy-navigation.png) [cols="2"] |=== |1 |[Application picker](#application-picker) |2 |[Organization picker](#organization-picker) |3 |[Property and locale selectors](#property-and-locale-selectors) |4 |[CMH navigation menu](#cmh-navigation-menu) |=== ## Application picker The application picker allows merchandisers to switch between the CMH and the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/). The login presented in the CMH is shared with the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/), meaning that logging into one will automatically log the user into the other, as long as the proper permissions are enabled. To switch from the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/) to the CMH, at the top of the navigation menu, click icon:grid-dots[alt=grid-dots,width=16], and then select **Merchandising Hub**. ![Switching between Coveo applications](https://docs.coveo.com/en/assets/images/coveo-platform/app-picker-open.png) ## Organization picker The organization picker enables merchandisers to switch between the different [Coveo organizations](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/) to access the related CMH. > **Note** > > This picker is only available to users with access to multiple organizations. ## Property and locale selectors A [Coveo organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/) can power many [storefronts](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/), each with their own set of products, categories, and rules. For example, the product inventory of two different brands can be managed by the same [Coveo organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/). A given [storefront](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/) may also have to offer experiences in different regions and languages, resulting in differences in the product content and pricing currencies. To account for these variations, the CMH offers merchandisers the ability to manage the product discovery experience for each distinct combination by using [properties](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4ue0547/) and [locales](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4tf0351/). * A _property_ identifies a [storefront](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/). It's linked to a [tracking ID](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o8rb0139/) through [**Storefront associations**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/commerce/storefront/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/commerce/storefront/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/commerce/storefront/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/commerce/storefront/)). * A _locale_ is a specific combination of language, region, and currency within a [property](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4ue0547/). The following diagram illustrates how [properties](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4ue0547/) and [locales](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4tf0351/) can be used to manage the different experiences for a given [storefront](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/): ![Properties and locales configuration interface showing tracking IDs and regional settings | Coveo](https://docs.coveo.com/en/assets/images/coveo-for-commerce/images/properties-locales.png) In this example, the Barca company has two brands, **Barca Sports** and **Barca Parts**, each with its own set of products and categories. Both brands are sold in Canada and the United States, which means that each brand has two distinct [properties](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4ue0547/), one for Canada and one for the United States. In Canada, both brands offer experiences in English and French, while in the United States, the brand experiences are in English only. Therefore, each [property](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4ue0547/) has a set of [locales](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4tf0351/) that represent the different experiences offered by the brand in a given region. The **Property** and **Locale** selectors enable merchandisers to tailor their search management activities to specific combinations of [storefronts](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/) and [locales](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p4tf0351/), ensuring that the search experience meets the needs of customers in different [storefronts](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p33g0410/) and regions. > **Note** > > This feature is mainly for businesses operating in multi-brand, multilingual, and multi-currency markets, ensuring that the experience is relevant and accessible to a diverse audience. ## CMH navigation menu Use the CMH navigation menu to switch between the Overview page and the available product discovery managers. The options you see depend on your organization and permissions: * [**Overview**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/q33f6538/) * [**Search manager**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o4nh0587/) * [**Product listings manager**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/ncce0176/) * [**Recommendations manager**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/o4nh0046/) * [**Facet manager**](https://docs.coveo.com/en/p3oa0420/)
