# Index Sitecore Content Hub
Coveo provides a [REST API source](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1896/), which you can configure to perform authenticated calls to the Sitecore Content Hub REST API.
The source configuration also allows you to define [metadata](https://docs.coveo.com/en/218/) names, populate this metadata with values from the API call responses, and generate subitems.
