--- title: Certificate authority change slug: n13c0213 canonical_url: https://docs.coveo.com/en/n13c0213/ collection: security source_format: adoc --- # Certificate authority change On March 1st 2023, Coveo changed its [certificate authority](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Glossary/Certificate_authority) from [GoDaddy](https://www.godaddy.com/) to [Amazon Trust Services](https://www.amazontrust.com/repository/). Amazon Trust Services is the public certificate authority used by [AWS Certificate Manager](https://aws.amazon.com/certificate-manager/). For most Coveo implementations, this change should be transparent. However, if you have implemented custom logic that explicitly vets the [previous certificate authority](https://certs.godaddy.com/repository), you will likely need to adjust that logic. Because certificate authority configuration is highly dependent on your specific implementation, we can't provide extensive migration guidance. Refer to [Amazon Trust Services](https://www.amazontrust.com/repository/) for information about the certificate authority.
