# Variant
A {doctitle} is the unique non-displayable version of the product, representing a variation on that product, such as a variation of the color or size of a product.
All variants are unique and are generally represented by a [stock keeping unit (SKU)](https://docs.coveo.com/en/mc7e0592/).
