# Validate that usage analytics events are being recorded
The [**Visit Browser**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/)) and [**Reports**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/)) pages of the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/) offer various tools to help you monitor activities within your [search interfaces](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2741/).
You can use them to test your implementation and confirm that all of the desired events are recorded.

. Access the search interface that you want to test.

. In the search box, perform a query.

. Perform one or more search actions, such as:

** Clicking search results

** Using [facets](https://docs.coveo.com/en/198/) to filter results

** Sending new queries

. [[step4]] Access the [**Visit Browser**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/visit/)) page, and then select the date on which you performed the search actions to [review user visits](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1964/).

. Find your [visit](https://docs.coveo.com/en/271/), and then expand it.
You should verify that every action which triggered a search, click, or custom event is listed under your visit.

> It may take a few minutes for events to appear in the **Visit browser**.

. Access the [**Reports**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/)) page, and then access one of the [reports](https://docs.coveo.com/en/266/).

> **Note**
>
> The default [**Summary** dashboard](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1559/) provides good insights on your implementation.

. In the upper-right corner of the page, select the date on which you performed the search actions (as you did in [step 4](#step4)).

. In the upper-left corner of the page, add a **User Id** [dimension filter](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1675/) to only show information related to your visit.

. Ensure that the values displayed in the **Summary** dashboard match those displayed in the **Visit browser**.

. Review the [information displayed](https://docs.coveo.com/en/m44f6381/) on the [**Data Health**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/health/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/health/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/health/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/health/)) page to see if there are any [Coveo Analytics events](https://docs.coveo.com/en/260/) that are getting discarded by [Coveo Analytics](https://docs.coveo.com/en/182/).
