Upgrading Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365

This page explains how to upgrade Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in your Dynamics 365 instance when an upgrade is available from Coveo. You need to upgrade Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 to apply the bug fixes and the new features included in the upgrade package. As with any Dynamics 365 solution, you can see if you need to upgrade Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in the Dynamics 365 Administration Center and decide to apply the upgrade at the best moment for you.

To upgrade Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365
Access the Dynamics 365 Administration Center (see Manage Microsoft Dynamics 365 instances).
In the Instances tab, select the Dynamics 365 instance you want to update.
In the <YOUR_INSTANCE_NAME> panel, under Solutions, click .
Click Coveo Search for Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
If an upgrade is available, the solution Status is Upgrade available. Click .
In the Terms of service window, click Upgrade to accept and begin the upgrade process. The solution Status changes to Installation pending while the Administration Center prepares the upgrade.
The upgrade may take a few minutes. If you refresh the page, you’ll see the solution go through 3 statuses: Installation pending > Installing > Installed. Your Dynamics 365 instance may be slower than usual during the upgrade and search components might be unavailable for a short moment. It would be best to upgrade outside of peek usage or warn the users of the impending upgrade.
You can close the Administration Center.
