Sources

The Sources page allows system administrators to manage Dynamics sources (see About the Configuration Interface). You can create new Dynamics sources as well as update, edit, or delete an existing source.

If your plan allows it (or if you are on the 30-day trial), you can add sources other than Dynamic from the Coveo Cloud administration console (see Available Coveo Cloud V2 Connectors).

By default, a refresh is automatically triggered every 15 minutes.

Diagnosing Source Issues

Coveo for Dynamics 1.1.180912.3 - September 2018

If you encounter content retrieval issues and need more information, you can run tests to determine whether your issue is related to the user account entered in the source configuration or to the source mappings limit (see Add/Edit a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Source and Adding and Managing Source Mappings).

  1. In the Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 configuration interface, click Sources (see About the Configuration Interface).
  2. In the Sources page, select the problematic source.
  3. In the Action bar, click the More drop-down menu, and then click Diagnose.

In the Source Diagnostic panel that appears, the Result of the Privileges test lets you know whether there is a user permission issue with this source. Success indicates that the user account entered in the source configuration is valid and has the required permissions to retrieve your content.

Coveo for Dynamics 1.1.181114.5 - November 2018 The Mappings test validates that the Mappings per source licensing limit has not been reached for this source. Should you try and add a number of mappings that would make your source exceed this limit, you would be prevented to save your changes (see Adding and Managing Source Mappings).

Deleting a Source

  1. In the Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 configuration interface, click Sources (see About the Configuration Interface).
  2. In the Sources page, select the source to delete.
  3. In the Action bar, click the More drop-down menu, and then click Delete.
