You can look for [keywords](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2738/) with the lowest **[Relevance Index](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2838/)** [metric](https://docs.coveo.com/en/263/) to identify potential stop word candidates. ## Test the relevance of your stop words . On the [**Reports**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/)) page, click the **Search Relevance** explorer, and then click **Open** in the Action bar. . In the **Search Relevance** explorer: .. Sort the report on increasing **Relevance Index** metric values. .. Review the keywords with the lowest **Relevance Index** metric values while looking for stop words. .. To test a specific stop word relevance, [add a dimension filter](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1899#manage-filters-to-refine-data) on `Keyword is [your stop word]`. .. When a keyword **Relevance Index** metric value is below `0.5`: ... Consider adding it to a **Stop Words** rule (see [Manage stop word rules](https://docs.coveo.com/en/3406/)). ... A few days later, ensure that the **Relevance Index** value for the stop word has improved.
