# Installation procedures
Regardless of your preferred Coveo for Sitecore deployment option, installing Coveo for Sitecore involves the deployment of Coveo for Sitecore items, assemblies, and configuration files in your Sitecore instance.

Follow the instructions for your deployment scenario among the ones below.

## Installing Coveo for Sitecore in a Sitecore on-premises environment

. Follow the instructions in the [Install](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2344/) article.
. If you're working with SXA, see [Install Coveo for Sitecore SXA components](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2347/).
. To send Coveo Analytics events to the Sitecore xConnect service, see [Send Coveo Analytics to Sitecore xConnect](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2702/).

## Installing Coveo for Sitecore in Sitecore on Azure PaaS

You can install Coveo for Sitecore on top of Sitecore using the Sitecore Installation Wizard.

You can install Sitecore and Coveo for Sitecore simultaneously using WDPs.
