# Catalog entity
A Coveo {doctitle} is a structure that represents the relationships between commerce-related [items](https://docs.coveo.com/en/210/).
It's composed of a source containing products that are unique, a [catalog configuration](https://docs.coveo.com/en/l5if0520/), and optionally a source for [availability channels](https://docs.coveo.com/en/mc7e9096/) when not contained in the product source.
