# Uninstall Coveo for Salesforce
You may want to remove the Coveo for Salesforce package from your Salesforce production or sandbox organization to:

* Uninstall a testing organization

* Downgrade

* Reinstall the package

To [uninstall the package](https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.distribution_uninstalling_packages.htm&type=5), delete everything that has been created by Coveo (for example, components and classes).

> You may encounter the following error message:
> 
> ```xml
Unable to uninstall package
```
> 
> If that occurs, the error message will likely be followed by a list of component types and issue descriptions.
> Read each description and perform the necessary actions.
