# Member
A {doctitle} of a [Coveo organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/) is a user who is part of at least one [group](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2867/) in that [organization](https://docs.coveo.com/en/185/).
All members of a group are granted the same set of privileges.

Don't confuse this type of member with a [member](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2873/) in the context of [security identity](https://docs.coveo.com/en/240/) management.
