Adding a Jive Cloud Source
You can add the content of a Jive Cloud community to your Coveo Organization. The source can be shared or private (see Source Permission Types). By default, your Jive Cloud source starts an incremental refresh every 15 minutes to index Jive Cloud file changes (addition, modification, or deletion).
Since the incremental refresh does not take recently deleted items into account among other things, a source full refresh is required to capture all source content changes (see Modify a Source Schedule).
Since plugins cannot be installed in Jive Cloud, Coveo cannot index permissions for this content.

Add a Jive Cloud Source
To edit a Jive Cloud source, see Edit the Source Configuration to Re-index its Content or Re-authorize the Access, and then follow the steps below, starting from step 4.
If not already done, log in to your Coveo Organization.
In the navigation bar on the left, under Search Content, select Sources, and then click Add Source.
In the Add Source page, click Jive Cloud.
When you create a source, you become the owner of the source.
In the Add/Edit a Jive Cloud Source dialog box:
In the Source Name box, enter a descriptive name of your choice for the source.
In the URL box, enter the web address of the Jive Cloud Community that you want to index.
In the security drop-down menu, select if you want your Jive content to be Shared or Private (see Source Permission Types).
In the Username and Password boxes, enter the credentials of a dedicated indexing account with Full Access permissions.
Click Content To Include to show more parameters and select the type of Jive content to be indexed.
By default, all Jive content (regardless of its status) except private users content under the Jive Community domain is indexed.
Since Coveo cannot index content permissions, it is strongly NOT recommended to enable the Users content toggle. Private information could then be disclosed even if private messages are not indexed.
By selecting Users content, the source indexes the user profiles, personal blogs, and private items (items and discussions). Private messages are not indexed.
Click Start Indexing (or Refresh Index when editing the source).
Back in the Coveo administration console Sources page, you can review the progress of your Jive source addition (see Review the State of Sources Available to You).
Schedule source incremental and full refresh to maintain your source content up to date (see Modify a Source Schedule).
Ensure source item titles are correctly set in search results by reviewing the title selection sequence (see Decide How Item Titles Are Determined in Search Result Lists).
