With the [required privileges](#required-privileges), you can [create sets of named filters](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1990#add-or-edit-a-named-filter) to save time during the creation of a [report](https://docs.coveo.com/en/266/). Once created, named filters can be [added](#add-named-filters-to-a-report) or [removed](#remove-named-filters-from-a-report) from reports. For more information on how filters can be applied and combined in reports, see [Filter settings and limitations](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1675#filter-settings-and-limitations). ## Access a report in Edit mode To add named filters to a report, you must first access the report in Edit mode. . On the [**Reports**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/)) page, click the report in which you want to add the named filters, and then click **Open** in the Action bar. . Click **Edit** in the upper-right corner. > **Important** > > Any changes made before accessing the Edit mode are kept. > If you have any unwanted changes, remove them before saving the report. ## Add named filters to a report You can add a set of named filters to a dashboard or explorer. . [Access a report in Edit mode](#access-a-report-in-edit-mode). . Click icon:filter-add-2[alt=filter-add-2,width=16]. . Under **Named Filters**, select the set of filters that you want to apply to the report. > **Important** > > Any combination of filters on the same dimension can't exceed 75 values (see [Limits](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1937/)). . Click **Save** in the upper-right corner. > **Notes** > > * In reports, named filters are identifiable by their white background and their italic font style. > > * By hovering over the named filters, you see the filters of the set. > > ![Admin-NamedFiltersIcon](:https://docs.coveo.com/en/assets/images/coveo-analytics/named-filter-tooltip.gif) > > * More than one named filter can be applied to a report at a time. ## Remove named filters from a report To broaden the scope of a report, you can remove named filters. . In [Edit mode](#access-a-report-in-edit-mode), click [dots] next to the filter, and then click **Remove**. . Click **Save** in the upper-right corner. ## Required privileges Members with the required privileges can view and edit elements of the [**Reports**](https://platform.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) ([platform-ca](https://platform-ca.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-eu](https://platform-eu.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/) | [platform-au](https://platform-au.cloud.coveo.com/admin/#/orgid/usage/reports/)) page. The following table indicates the required privileges to view and edit reports from the **Reports** page and associated panels.
