--- title: 'Featured result: Query pipeline feature' slug: '1468' canonical_url: https://docs.coveo.com/en/1468/ collection: tune-relevance source_format: adoc --- # Featured result: Query pipeline feature A [query pipeline statement](https://docs.coveo.com/en/236/) expressing the `featured result` [query pipeline feature](https://docs.coveo.com/en/234/) increases the ranking scores of [items](https://docs.coveo.com/en/210/) appearing in certain [query](https://docs.coveo.com/en/231/) result sets by a large amount, and sets the `isTopResult` property to `true` for each of these items. It also modifies the [disjunction](https://docs.coveo.com/en/190/) part (`dq`) of the combined query expression to ensure that these items will be included in the query results. > **Note** > > Th QPL rule `top` has been replaced by the `featured result` [query pipeline feature](https://docs.coveo.com/en/234/), grouped as [Result rankings API](https://platformdev.cloud.coveo.com/docs?urls.primaryName=Search%20API#/Result%20rankings). The following diagram shows the process of a query being sent to the Search API and the order of execution of query pipeline features. ![Coveo | diagram showing order of execution](https://docs.coveo.com/en/assets/images/coveo-platform/trigger-statements-diagram.svg) In the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/), you can manage statements representing the [`featured result`](https://docs.coveo.com/en/3376/) feature from the **Result ranking** tab.
