Installing Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365

The steps you must follow to install Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 vary depending on your Dynamics version and the Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 version you want to install (see Dynamics 9 Instances, Dynamics 8.2 Instances, or Dynamics 8.1 or 8.0 Instances).

Dynamics 9 Instances

To install Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a Dynamics 9 instance:

  1. Enable Auditing of Dynamics 365 Entities.
  2. Deploy Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Using a Solution File.

    When creating a Microsoft Dynamics 365 source, under Authentication, select the Application User option (see Add/Edit a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Source).

Dynamics 8.2 Instances

To install Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a Dynamics 8.2 instance:

  1. Enable Auditing of Dynamics 365 Entities.
  2. Deploy Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Using a Solution File.

    When creating a Microsoft Dynamics 365 source, under Authentication, select the Application User option (see Add/Edit a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Source).

Dynamics 8.1 or 8.0 Instances

To install Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 in a Dynamics 8.0 or 8.1 instance:

  1. Create a Non-Interactive System User.
  2. Assign a Security Role to the Coveo User.
  3. Enable Auditing of Dynamics 365 Entities.
  4. Deploy Coveo for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Using a Solution File.
