# Origin level 3
{doctitle} is a [Coveo Analytics event](https://docs.coveo.com/en/260/) [metadata](https://docs.coveo.com/en/218/) whose value should typically be the URL of the page that linked to the [search interface](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2741/) that's making the request.

When logging a Search event, `originLevel3` should always be set to the same value as the corresponding [referrer](https://docs.coveo.com/en/1344/) Search API [query](https://docs.coveo.com/en/231/) parameter to ensure that [Coveo Analytics reports](https://docs.coveo.com/en/266/) and [dashboards](https://docs.coveo.com/en/256/) are coherent.
