This is the default and recommended option. > **Important** > > Hashing the email address may lead to your users essentially querying only publicly available content. * **Coveo for Salesforce v5.2+** To use the [organization endpoints](https://docs.coveo.com/en/mcc80216/) for your search and analytics queries, enable the **Organization endpoints** setting. _Organization endpoints_ improve separation of concerns, resiliency, and make multi-region and data residency deployments smoother. > **Important** > > This setting is disabled by default. > Make sure the `.org.coveo.com` (Search) and `.analytics.org.coveo.com` (Analytics) endpoints are registered as [CSP Trusted Sites](++https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.csp_trusted_sites.htm&type=5++) before enabling this option. * **Coveo for Salesforce v3.42+** To set a custom endpoint for your search queries, [specify a custom domain name](https://docs.coveo.com/en/2976#configuration) such as `mycompany.org.coveo.com` for the endpoint, and then click **Test** to validate the connectivity for your custom endpoint. > **Note** > > The **Organization endpoints** setting takes priority over the custom endpoint if both settings are enabled.
