# Possible `sourceType` values
Whenever you create a [source](https://docs.coveo.com/en/246/) in a [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/) from the API, you must specify a valid `sourceType` in the request body.

The following table lists the possible `sourceType` values and their corresponding display name in the [Coveo Administration Console](https://docs.coveo.com/en/183/).

> Your Coveo organization license contains information about the source types that are available, as well as the number of sources you can create in your organization.
